HOHENFELS, Germany – Troops from 13 countries have participated in Operational Mentor and Liaison Team (OMLT) training at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center. After visiting Sweden, Admiral James Stavridis, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) travelled to Finland from 11 -12 May, at the invitation of Chief of Defence of the Finnish Armed Forces, General Ari Puheloinen.  He also had a meeting with the President of the Republic, Mrs. Tarja Halonen.

In February, Admiral James Stavridis participated in an online "Security Jam” forum, discussing security issues affecting international peace. Adm. Stavridis' insights and ideas were highlighted in a recently released report of the top ten recommendations published by the Security and Defence Agenda, a Brussels-based think tank, according to National Journal Group's website "nextgov."
