Strength: 194,466 troops (Includes AAF) as of 31 Mar 2012. Growth of ~97.5K since Nov 2009 (as of 29 Feb 12)

Target Strength: 195,000 (by November 2012)

• Growth of 90,800 since Nov 2009 (as of Feb 12)

• 22,000 soldiers in training/day; 7,000 complete training/month; 5,000-8,000 soldiers recruited/month

• Afghan trainers = approximately 3,083

• The last fielded combat force will be in 2013

• 63 ANA/ANP Graduates from Explosive Ordnance Disposal School Dec 2011. 66% of the ANA pay is provided by the U.S. 100% of the ANA incentive pay is provided by the U.S.

• An E4 Soldier (<1 to 3 years) base pay is $165 per month.
