How can I register as a SHAPE vendor?

I am a registered SHAPE vendor but I have never been invited to bid.

This may be because the product or service you offer is rarely required, and we simply haven't needed to buy any.

I heard there is a bid going on for “abc" product or service. I want to participate. Who shall I contact?

Are SHAPE purchases tax/duty free?

As an international organization, SHAPE is exempt from payment of taxes and duties for its purchases.

I am producer/manufacturer of "abc". Can I invite SHAPE to attend when I hold demonstrations in my country?

SHAPE does not normally make specific visits to individual companies. However, SHAPE might organize business seminars or industry days when the nature of the requirement deems it necessary.

Does SHAPE conduct purchases for the whole NATO?

The common objective of both Strategic Commands is to maximize the use of centralized acquisitions. SHAPE may conduct centralized acquisition initiatives when opportunities arise. However each NATO Headquarters may carry out his own procurement activities within the established NATO procurement rules.
